This image shows part of the process of designing a garage for a small sports car: a triumph spitfire. The idea was to think of a garage customized to the dimensions of this specific car. For example, the garage door in all design options has a height of 1.20 m, so you can only pass through it while driving in the car and have to leave or enter the garage via a second entrance. to check the real dimensions of the different design options, I parked the car and drew the different floor plans on the ground in 1:1 scale with chalk. I did the studies with chalk in August 2018. The photographs of these studies are no longer available. I recreated and visualized this analogue process in this digital image. The image shown here is from March 2024. The garage has not yet been built. The car still exists. it is no longer red but green.
