GLACIALIS, Canada, 2026

Temporary Installation

On the frozen river, a mass of snow becomes space. A square, 25 meters wide and 1.5 meters high, sits quiet and opaque, indistinguishable from the surface around it. Only through excavation, its interior emerges. Glacialis is an object and an event. A temporary field of snow and ice, carved to create immersion, disorientation, and enjoyment. It grows through use, becoming alive in laughter, footsteps, silence. When spring arrives, it dissolves entirely, returning to the river. A work without residue. A landscape re-shaped. A fleeting architecture that belongs to everyone.
